On #International Women’s Day, I’m taking time to honour and raise a toast to celebrate two passionate, talented and industrious women I have the pleasure of work with – they are strong, work hard, persevere and live life to the fullest.
Nicole Stefenelli is the founder and driving force behind Urban Impact. The family-owned business began with one truck and has grown to 35 that include rear load trucks, front loaders, tractors, roll-off trucks, and onsite shred trucks serving more than 7,500 customer locations from Whistler to Chilliwack.
Nicole is passionate recycler, businesswomen and mum of four. As Founder and CEO Nicole is highly passionate about recycling and everything green and ensuring that Urban Impact helps facilitate positive social and environmental change in everything they do. A recycling visionary, Nicole has demonstrated that recycling at work really works!
Allison Zimmerman is co-owner of Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery in Mount Lehman. A family-owned boutique winery, Allison is passionate about crafting small lots of award-wining artisanal wines. She has an extensive knowledge of wine and the cool climate grapes grown for wines produced on their Fraser Valley estate Allison is passionate about the future of BC VQA wine and brining inspiration and innovation to the forefront.
